WPForms is the most popular form-building plugin for WordPress. It has an Authorize.Net addon which helps us to add Authorize.Net payment gateway in our form.

WPForms comes with four pricing plans. But if you want to use their Authorize.Net addon you need to buy their Elite plan which starts from $299/year.

So, make sure you buy WPForms first. Then install and activate the WPForms plugin on your site. After installing the plugin, activate your premium license.

To activate your premium license, go to WPForms > Settings and paste your license key and click Connect.

Once you have done this, go to WPForms > Addons and install the Authorize.Net addon.

Next, go to WPForms > Settings, then click the Payments tab to check that the payment settings are set up the way you want them in WPForms.

Here select the currency you want to use from the dropdown menu.

Let’s move forward to the next step, where we are going to connect WPForms and Authorize.Net.

First, log in to your Authorize.Net account. If you have not created your account, then do that first.

Here we need our API Key and Transaction Key. To get your API Key, go to Account > Settings. And under the  General Security Settings, click API Credentials and Keys.

Copy that key and paste it into the API Login ID section under the Payment tab, in your WordPress dashboard.

Now it is time to find your Transaction Key, so, click Obtain in your Authorize.Net account, then click New Transaction Key. Then go ahead and click Submit.

Now Authorize.Net will send an email to your email address with a Pin. Check your email, then paste the PIN in and click Verify PIN.

Great! Now you have a working transaction key. Copy that key now, then switch back to WPForms and paste it into the Transaction Key field.

In the end, don’t forget to save all the changes.

Now let’s create our payment form. So, to do that, go to WPForms > Add New and choose a template for your form. WPForms has a lot of templates. Choose one of them or choose the Blank Form template to create your form from scratch.

All the templates are fully customizable, so don’t need to worry about that. If you want to add a new block to your form, drag and from any block from your left panel and drop it to your form.

Once you have done, save your changes and click on the Payments tab from your left side and select the Authorize.Net payment option.

Here, first, check the box called Enable Authorize.Net payments.

Payment Description: Enter a name, this name will appear on your customer’s statement.

Authorize.Net Payment Receipt: Here you can select the email option to send your receipt to your customers.

Customer Name: Select Name to have the customer’s name associated with the payment.
